Synopsis

Souichiro Nagi and Bob Makihara are two show-boating guys who happen to love causing trouble at their schools. They have been able to take over a school by fighting and beating everyone. However, they end up at Toudou Gakuen, a school for martial arts training and fighting. Only this school doesn't seem to be like any ordinary school, as Souichiro and Bob will soon discover.

While the two delinquents are causing trouble on the campus, the school realizes they need to ask for help from Maya Natsume, a 3rd year student of Toudou Gakuen and head of Jyuukenbu club, and Masataka Takayanagi, 2nd year student at Toudou Gakuen and also a Member of the Jyuukenbu club, to stop Souichiro Nagi and Bob Makihara.

Well, shortly after Maya sets them in their place they realize they're not the best after all and join the Jyuukenbu club to heighten their potential, but Maya isn't the only one who wants them. There is another group called the Enforcement Group, lead by a 3rd year student at Toudou Gakuen - Mitsuomi Takayanagi, which doesn't bring out the best on either side.

There is a dark past between the Natsume clan and the Takayanagi clan due to the death of Maya Natsume's older brother and Takayanagi Mitsuomi's old friend Natsume Shin that have their blood both boiling to the point of no return. Natsume Maya also has her hands full with her sister Natsume Aya, a 1st year student of Toudou Gakuen and also new Member of Jyuukenbu club, which doesn't make thing easy for Souichiro Nagi,due to some accidents during his encounter with Maya. Unfortunately, Aya has no idea what is the real story between her sister Maya and Mitsuomi or what caused the recent death of her brother Shin, which only hurts the Jyuukenbu and the Enforcement Group in the long run.

Review

Takayanagi Mitsuomi, Natsume Maya, Natsume Shin, and Souichiro Nagi are key players to this series. Yet only a few know what really went on, leavening everyone else on the side line waiting for the next move. It's a love story gone really wrong with Natsume Shin.

Shin was a dark person from the point he touched the ceremonial sword known as Reiki. Shin has been very isolated by poeple,Yet only one person has ever showed Shin kindness and that was his dear sister Maya. This caused Shin to keep Maya very close to him.

Shin later creates a group called katana. Along side him was Tawara Bunshichi, 3 year senior. Bunshichi is really laid back and doesn't really care about the battle between Jyuukenbu club.

There is also Takayanagi,not including a few others. Maya and Mitsuomi bump heads more then a few times in this story while thats going on, later on in the story you come to find out more and more katana members are being taken out by a mysterious fighter.

There is also Kuzunoha Mana, which only leads things into deeper water Later, you find out Mana is more then she seems as well and hates to admit she's only second-rate to Maya in Shin's eyes.

Regardless Mana's feelings are true and deep for Shin. for it only gets worse and it later takes it's toll after Mitsuomi and Shin find out someone has other plans for Maya.

Mitsuomi also gets caught up in a crossfire, But was it on purpose or an accident?. Slowly the story starts to make sense for a few people, and they come to find out it was more then they wanted to know.

Also thing start to get bumpy for Maya as she has to make a painstaking choice that might cost her everything. Maya feels trapped by the choice made and start to fall apart inside and doesnt know where to turn.

Souichiro shortly learns about Mitsuomi and wants to defeat Mitsuomi for the sake of Maya, it becomes more personal when Mitsuomi has asked Maya a question that could effect everything for Souichiro, which angers Nagi even more after Maya reveals a response for her choice that makes everyone wonder why.

Nagi goes to defend her honor as we learn from this point Souichiro alway bites off more then he can chew and it begins to tear into Aya's heart, Maya later tells Souichiro there is a better way of training that involves some wounds opening and some hatred to finally be released. Will it be enough to stop this pointless blood shed between the Jyuukenbu club and the Enforcement Group?

Conclusion

This series has alot of action, drama, comedy, and romance. Maya, Shin, Mitsuomi, and Souichiro all have their own special way of handling situations, which I can safely say is a lot of fun and has a lot of points that life can throw at you. It is a good series because of all the twists and turns. It's a never ending Romeo and Juliet gone martial arts, full-blown action, and non-stop fun!
