Synopsis

Nougami Neuro, the series' protagonist, is a demon from hell who eats mysteries and riddles. After eating every single mystery in hell, he decides to come to Earth. Meanwhile, Katsuragi Yako's father was assassinated in a very unfamiliar fashion, the classic, sealed room murder. The police classified the murder as suicide due to lack of evidence to be considered an assassination. Neuro finds Yako's mystery to be the greatest and realizes this mystery will be the one to fulfill his desire. They both open a detective agency, while Neuro solves all the mysteries, Yako gets accredited for them. The two solve the weirdest yet extremely challenging mysteries the city has to offer.

Review

If you ever in your life decided to mix Death Note and Gintama, Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro will be the weird offspring of these two anime.
Set in Japan (most likely a city in the Kanto region), Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro talks about a group of detectives who solve many different cases. These cases are usually portrayed by weekly villains and they last only one episode, except for a few of them who have a full 3 to 4 episode arc. This anime is great in comparison to the 2007 fall season of anime.  Even though the season saw many great anime coming, this one stood out in my Wanna See List. It is a mixture of drama, comedy and action. This formula equaled the great anime that is Nougami Neuro, not many anime have achieved such a feat of combining these elements, and many that do aren't successful. Let's just say that Madhouse did a tremendous job at converting the manga to the anime.

Conclusion

The anime is awesome to describe it in one word. It is entertaining and it will keep you at the edge of your seat or, desk. Pretty short and the weekly villains was a nuisance but the Arcs shown at certain episode will keep you coming back for more. This anime is sure to add a little more flavor to your anime collection. The weird breed called Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro will make you shake, scream, laugh and you will get creep out so much that you will just want to re watch it! Please Enjoy!

Audio:	The seiyu voices were great.
Video:	Not to my expectation.
Plot:	Extremely entertaining. Short arcs isn't good.
Style:	Good enough to keep you wanting more.

Language:	Not a lot. But it is still pretty entertaining.
